My greatest joy as an arborist is being able to return year after year to the same tree, caring for it and watching it mature in the landscape.

Admittedly, I am a little nuts about trees. As a kid in California, I climbed to heights that made my mother gasp and built forts of fallen tree limbs. But it wasn’t until I witnessed an arborist in action on my college campus that I
realized I’d found my calling.

Moving to Wisconsin, I fell in love with the state—and a Wisconsin girl. After working for one of Madison’s
most respected tree care companies, I continued training and started developing relationships with many people and businesses who are customers to this day.

I founded My Tree Guy in 2010 and tested to become an ISA Certified Arborist right away. Having my own business enables me to provide responsive, skilled service, and have a positive impact in the community. I practice sustainability and spread my enthusiasm for use of urban lumber from felled trees for creative and structural
projects.

My career as an arborist allows me to work outdoors doing what I love best. I enjoy providing the kind of service that builds long-term relationships and helping my customers realize their vision for the larger landscape specimens on their property.
